Jason Paul Smith, Director and Executive Producer:

Jason Paul Smith wrote, produced and directed the acclaimed one-man show, "Consulting Mavis or How I Got My Ass Out of North Dakota and Remained Sane". Debuting at the Center for Independent Artist's in Minneapolis, it garnered attention from Minnesota Public Radio's "Word Of Mouth" program as show of the week.
It was also performed at the Wild Yam Cabaret, the Fringe of the Fringe at the Center for Independent Artist's (voted best theater event of 2002), and was performed at Medtronics, sponsored by the Gay Straight Alliance organization.
Attending the University of Minnesota and influenced by a talented faculty that included Nancy Houfek, Kent Stephens, and Shirley Venard, Jason performed roles such as Barnaby Tucker in The Matchmaker, and Father Petr Karolyi in Pentecost. He also directed a production of Stephen Sondheim's, "Sunday In The Park With George".
Other credits include Theater Limina's critically acclaimed production of Six Degrees of Separation (Flan Kitridge) and starring in the Phoenix Playhouse's revival of The Rocky Horror Show playing Frank 'n Furter.
Jason currently resides in Chicago, where he is at work on several other projects including an original musical and a re-envisioning of the Greek play, "Medea".

Rob Dorn, Art Director and Producer:

With the notion that the pen is mightier than the sword, Rob Dorn has created thousands of pen and ink illustrations that express his unique sense of humor and imagination. His career as an artist includes illustration work for books (The Stooge Chronicles), greeting cards (Cardthartic) and designing and developing websites. As a graphic artist, he has seen the medium go from paste-up board to Adobe Photoshop and Quark and doesn't miss the smell of rubber cement at all.
He has designed marketing materials for several theater companies, musical groups, artists and entertainers including press kits, posters and web sites.
Rob is also an award winning actor and vocalist and was the creator and founder of the popular vocal quartet, "Three Hits and a Miss". He is a veteran of several Chicago stage productions, a national tour of Sondheim's "Into The Woods" (Jack) and was a member of the Minneapolis company of "Forever Plaid".
Last May, Rob appeared in Seattle's "The Candyland Diaries" and recently ended a month long run singing at Davenports in Chicago.
He is currently developing new musical projects and recently established the Chicago based “Three Cat Media” with his partner, Jason Paul Smith.

Barbe Marshall, Producer and Directing Adviser:

Barbe Marshall has been directing and teaching for nearly twenty years. Currently based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Barbe came to the Twin Cities via San Francisco, where she worked with the American Conservatory Theatre, Magic Theatre, San Francisco's Playwrights' Center, Aurora Theatre, EXIT Theatre and Adda Clevenger School for the Performing Arts. Other theatres she has worked with include Penumbra TheZatre Company, The Guthrie, The Xperimental Theatre, Hamline University Theatre, St. Olaf Theatre, Applause Theatre, Theatre Mu, Red Eye, Minneapolis Community and Technical College and the University of Minnesota. Local directing credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, Mee's Requiem, The Flies, Ludlam's Medea, The Bacchae, Look Back in Anger and Mee's Orestes, among others. Barbe teaches Meisner technique, Viewpoints movement work, and directing. Barbe holds a BFA in Music Theatre from the University of Nebraska and an MFA in Directing from the University of Minnesota.

Jeanne Pakulski, Producer and Creative Consultant:

Jeanne Pakulski is a freelance producer who has worked with Fallon Minneapolis and Target Corporation. Jeanne has a background in many areas of production, she has worked as a makeup artist, photo stylist and choreographer on numerous photo shoots and theatrical productions. In addition to her production background, she was singer/ songwriter in the band The Psychedelicates and holds a BA in Photography from the University of Minnesota.

Bill Hunt, Creative and Technical Advisor

In addition to editing The Digital Bits, Hunt is a regular contributor to Geek Monthly magazine, and has served as the Inside DVD Contributing Editor to Widescreen Review magazine. He has also written on the subject of DVD and other industry issues for Video Store magazine (now Home Media Retailing) and has served as a judge for a number of DVD industry awards.

In addition, Hunt and Digital Bits contributing editor Todd Doogan also write together under the auspices of their own company, mr-2 media.

Jason Vanselow, Music Composer:

Jason is a guitarist, pianist, and educator based in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has received degrees from both the University of St. Thomas and the Cleveland Institute of Music. Along with his work as a teacher, Jason has been active in the Twin Cities theater community acting as music director for projects for groups such as the Red Eye Collaborative and Hamline University. Recent projects include co-authorship of the Minnesota Music Teacher's Association Comprehensive Guitar Syllabus (the first of its kind in the nation) and performances in association with the Minnesota Guitar society.
